The mobile rack (satellite communications terminal, server, battery pack, PDU,) phone, and laptop bag, are normally there.

Sat comms check. PDU Check. Laptop check. First-aid check.
Needs SOPMOD M4 or MK18 and loaded plate carrier to complete the setup.

Custom made by pelican for the institution I work for. Houses a PDU, batteries, 2 servers, a router,WLAN unit, and satcom gear. Carried by several people because they are supposed to be always available...
Overkill, but there are reasons I suppose.

Wow. The Equus is the Korean Phaeton, in more ways than one. Heroic depreciation comes to mind. Either way, we have a Sonata, and find the sightlines on it infuriating. How have you enjoyed your Equus?

Driver’s side towards back is miserable. You have to turn your head a lot for lane changes because the mirrors are not very good.
And, it’s a lease setup through my company. All luxury cars depreciate though. My personal G wagon lost a lot of value fast!

That’s the best way to write off depreciation. We have the same visibility issue in our Sonata, coupled to pillars that are bloody massive. Luckily, now that we’ve moved to Kelowna, we will soon be shopping for another vehicle.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen you around these parts. Have you converted any vans into 4x4 off road monsters lately?

Nah, I’m out of that game for now, since there are no good candidates built anymore. Econoline is only made as chassis cab. Express van’s frame takes a tooon of cutting, and the new vehicles dont really even have a chassis, being unit bodies unless ordered in odd ways. I might grab one more for the road, but i’m moving onto other platforms once I find it!
